Czech government of Andrej Babiš agreed to sign a declaration on strategic cooperation between the Government of the Czech Republic and BMW AG to support the planned construction of a test center in the Sokolov region.
Andrei Babiš’s Cabinet approved the signing of a statement on strategic cooperation between the Government of the Czech Republic and BMW AG. The government thus declared a clear support for the BMW Group Future Mobility Development development and testing center project in the Karlovy Vary Region.
For around 250 million euros, the Sokolovská uhelná plots will be refurnished tothe test center for autonomous vehicles, which will create several hundred new jobs, including places for top experts. The government will now consider what concrete form, in line with European regulations, will support construction.
