Investment tycoon Czechoslovak Group buys Prague’s truck maker Avia. The carmaker had been owned by Indian firm Ashok Leyland Armament Group formerly. The new investor wants to produce 200 to 300 trucks a year.
The price of the transaction was not disclosed. According to Hospodarske noviny, the transaction could move in the hundreds of millions of crowns. The greatest value of the brand is the plant in Prague, where they are now doing just spare parts.
