The Ministry of the Environment will use the Volkswagen e-Golf electric car. The car was delivered by Tomas Chmelík, Manager of CEZ Clean Technology and CEZ Sales Manager David Martinek.
The four-year vehicle rental is one of many activities of the ČEZ Electromobility project, which aims to support the development of this mode of transport in the Czech Republic.
“We welcome the opportunity to test the properties of the leased electric power in service. Thanks to the increasingly dense network of public charging stations, we will be able to test it outside of the capital,” said Deputy Environment Minister Vladislav Smrž said during the handing over of the car.
“In the long term we cooperate with the Czech Ministry of the Environment not only on the development of electromobility. We are pleased to find another chapter on this tradition today, “CEZ Tomas Chmelík, CEO of ČEZ, said.
